Jaclyn and Courtney
Indigenous women go missing at a much higher rate in Canada and the United States than white women do, and indigenous women in Alaska have the highest disappearance rates compared to the rest of the U.S. When Sonya Ivanoff vanished from Nome, Alaska in 2003, her family couldn’t imagine where she would have gone.
